November 29, 2017 – As part of ongoing efforts to refine LiST, inputs for modeling nutrition in LiST were recently updated to incorporate the latest available evidence and current programmatic approaches.
These refinements and supporting analyses are described and presented in the articles of a newly published supplement in the Journal of Nutrition. This supplement was funded by the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF) as part of a grant to extend and improve the functionality of LiST as it relates to the nutrition of mothers and children. This valuable research contributes by improving LiST as an evidence-based model and will enable countries and programs to better estimate the impact of scaling up nutrition-specific and nutrition-sensitive interventions for achieving progress toward designated global priorities and targets. The full supplement can be accessed here.
